These buttery biscuits have the perfect crumbly consistency, and we've swapped sugary fillers for our gut-loving Gutsy Gummies, giving you a strawberry flavour that's all fun, no nasties. Perfect for a cheeky solo snack or to share – if you can bear to part with them!

Ingredients

PANTRY ITEMS

Biscuit

1 ½ cups plain flour

1 tsp bi-carb soda

1 tsp baking powder

½ cup butter, softened

¾ cup coconut sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

Filling

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 tbsp Gutsy Gummies Strawberry

Method

Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and the vanilla. Gradually add in the dry ingredients.
Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto prepared trays. With your thumb or the end of a wooden spoon put a generous dent in the centre of the biscuit (but don't go all the way through). Make sure you space the biscuits out as the biccies will spread a little.
Bake for 6 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or until just done. Let stand on baking trays for a few minutes before moving to cool on wire racks.
Meanwhile prepare the ‘gummy’ drops by heating the frozen strawberries on the stove until bubbly. Mash up the strawberries. Add Strawberry Gutsy Gummy mix and stir til combined
The centre for each biscuit will use approx 1 tablespoon of gummy mix (depending on the size of your biscuits). Refrigerate until set.
Hide from your kids or you wont get any!
